Jingjing Luo is a a current senior who goes to the Pingry School in New Jersey, USA. She developed the idea of Inkbridges in the summer before her freshman year. Coming out of the pandemic, she found it challenging to reconnect with the world, so she began volunteering at the local library, where she came across an event where anyone could sign up to practice English, speaking to strangers. She created Inkbridges in order to foster dialogue and emotional support for immigrants and refugees in her local communities. However, as the organization grew, it's mission is now to create one universal community bringing together people of all nations and cultures. She hopes that through letter exchanges, everyone can feel a little bit more loved and understood, despite ideological differences.
